Dear Members,

It is truly humbling to have this great responsibility to host the 6th global convention of our esteemed organization in Chicago. As we embark on this journey, I look back at the beautiful evolution of Mission 20ONE and how it all started with a vision and a passion to serve. It was a simple goal when President Hari Raini garu said if we can help one family with our service, that will be gratifying. I am proud that we helped 100s of families and have accomplished a lot in the last two years.

The purpose of the 6th global convention is to celebrate and felicitate the real heroes of Mission 20ONE and connect the community to Serve. Coming to Chicago, we have a team that is a force to reckon with, an open group of volunteers, leaders, and advisors whose interest is to make the convention successful. Our philosophy is to do our best and leave the rest and the Shlokam from Bhagavad Gita 

“karmaṇyevādhikāraste mā phaleṣu kadācana,

mā karmaphalaheturbhūrmā te saṅgo’stvakarmaṇi.”

“Thy right is to work only, but never to its fruits; let the fruit of- action be not thy motive, nor let thy attachment be to inaction”

The team is excited to bring innovation into how the convention is planned and managed and bring in programs with a specific focus on “empowerment” with a constant view on how to make it sustainable both in planning and environmental. 

This convention will have a specific emphasis on youth, a new and improved Business Conference built on the success of the Business Interest Group standing committee. In addition, we are introducing a dedicated track on Stocks and Equity, and the new competition of Master and Mr. NRIVA to Miss and Mrs. NRIVA track are just a few things the 6th global convention focus will be on.

As a Convenor, my responsibility will be to work with all the stakeholders and manage the expectations, relations, and risks. Putting the TEAM and the success of the convention in front is my primary objective. 

As a treasurer, we have successfully delivered a transparent treasury function which was a goal set for this term and making sustainable improvements that will have a lasting impact, such as successfully implementing QuickBooks for NRIVA. In the same spirit, we will bring sustainable practices and procedures for the 6th global convention that will help future conventions.

In closing, this convention will be only successful because of strong support from our Donors, my fellow Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Strong volunteers, and supporters, so please, I humbly request everyone to attend and participate in this Mega Celebration in Chicago. It is not just a convention it is a Yajna and we will all participate in it and offer our services to further Vasavi Matha’s message and strengthen our Motto of “Connecting to Serve”.
