NRIVA Awards Guidelines and Nomination Process

    NRIVA Professional Excellence Award
    • Nominees must be active members of NRIVA (NRI Vasavi Association) in good standing.
    • Candidates must have achieved notable professional accomplishments between Jan 2023 and the present.
    • Nominees should have demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and impact in their respective fields.
    • Nominations can be submitted by NRIVA members, with self-nominations also accepted.
    • Nomination forms should include detailed information on the nominee's achievements, contributions, and their impact on their profession or community.
    • Supporting documentation such as resumes, portfolios, or letters of recommendation may be included to strengthen the nomination.
  • NRIVA Women Excellence Award
    • Nominees must be active female members of NRIVA (NRI Vasavi Association) in good standing.
    • Candidates must have demonstrated exceptional achievements and contributions in various spheres between Jan 2023 and the present.
    • Nominees should have exhibited leadership, innovation, and positive impact within their profession, community, or society at large.
    • Nominations can be submitted by NRIVA members, with self-nominations also welcomed.
    • Nomination forms should provide detailed information on the nominee's accomplishments, leadership qualities, and the significance of their contributions.
    • Supporting materials such as resumes, portfolios, or letters of recommendation may be included to bolster the nomination.
  • NRIVA Youth Excellence Award (Academics)
    • Nominees must be active members of NRIVA (NRI Vasavi Association) in good standing.
    • Candidates should be students or recent graduates who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements between Jan 2023 and the present.
    • Nominees must have excelled in academic pursuits, including but not limited to, formal education, research, or scholarly activities.
    • Nominations can be submitted by NRIVA members, educational institutions, or self-nominations from eligible candidates.
    • Nomination forms should provide detailed information on the nominee's academic accomplishments, including GPA, awards, scholarships, publications, research projects, or other notable achievements.
    • Supporting documentation such as transcripts, recommendation letters, or certificates may be included to strengthen the nomination.
  • NRIVA Youth Excellence Award (Non-Academics)
    • Nominees must be active members of NRIVA (NRI Vasavi Association) in good standing.
    • Candidates should be youth members who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and contributions in non-academic spheres between Jan 2023 and the present.
    • Nominees must have excelled in areas such as community service, leadership, entrepreneurship, arts, sports, or any other non-academic endeavor.
    • Nominations can be submitted by NRIVA members, community organizations, or self-nominations from eligible candidates.
    • Nomination forms should provide detailed information on the nominee's non-academic achievements, including descriptions of their activities, projects, initiatives, or leadership roles.
    • Supporting documentation such as testimonials, awards, media coverage, or other relevant materials may be included to support the nomination.
  • NRIVA Entrepreneur Award
    • Nominees must be active members of NRIVA (NRI Vasavi Association) in good standing.
    • Candidates should be entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptional achievements and contributions in the field of business or social entrepreneurship between Jan 2023 and the present.
    • Nominees must have founded or co-founded a business venture, startup, or social enterprise that has shown significant growth, innovation, and impact.
    • Nominations can be submitted by NRIVA members, business partners, customers, or self-nominations from eligible entrepreneurs.
    • Nomination forms should provide detailed information on the nominee's entrepreneurial achievements, including descriptions of their ventures, business model, impact, and growth metrics.
    • Supporting documentation such as business plans, financial statements, testimonials, media coverage, or awards may be included to strengthen the nomination.
  • NRIVA Community Service Award
    • Nominees must be active members of NRIVA (NRI Vasavi Association) in good standing.
    • Candidates should have demonstrated outstanding dedication and contributions to community service initiatives between Jan 2023 and the present.
    • Nominees must have actively participated in community service projects, volunteer activities, or initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and well-being of others.
    • Nominations can be submitted by NRIVA members, community organizations, or self-nominations from eligible candidates.
    • Nomination forms should provide detailed information on the nominee's community service activities, including descriptions of projects, volunteer roles, leadership positions, and the impact of their contributions.

  • NRIVA Team i2 (Inspire to Impact) Chapter Award
    • Chapters must be affiliated with NRIVA (NRI Vasavi Association) and actively functioning during the specified period from Jan 2023 to the present.
    • The Team i2 Chapter Award recognizes chapters that have demonstrated exceptional teamwork, innovation, and impact in their activities and initiatives.
    • Chapters must have organized and executed projects or events aimed at inspiring positive change and making a tangible impact within their communities or beyond.
    • Nominations for the Team i2 Chapter Award can be submitted by NRIVA members, chapter leaders, or NRIVA governing bodies.
    • Nomination forms should provide detailed information on the chapter's activities, projects, events, and initiatives conducted between Jan 2023 and the present.
    • Supporting documentation such as project reports, event summaries, testimonials, media coverage, or other relevant materials may be included to support the nomination.
  • NRIVA Team i2 (Inspire to Impact) Community Impact Award
    • Initiatives must be undertaken by teams or groups affiliated with NRIVA (NRI Vasavi Association) and actively functioning during the specified period from Jan 2023 to the present.
    • The Team i2 Community Impact Award recognizes initiatives that have demonstrated exceptional teamwork, innovation, and measurable impact in addressing community needs and fostering positive change.
    • Initiatives must have been executed and completed within the specified timeframe, showcasing tangible results and outcomes.
    • Nominations for the Team i2 Community Impact Award can be submitted by NRIVA members, community organizations, or individuals directly involved in the initiative.
    • Nomination forms should provide detailed information on the initiative's goals, objectives, activities, outcomes, and the extent of community impact achieved.
    • Supporting documentation such as project reports, testimonials, media coverage, photographs, or videos may be included to substantiate the nomination.
