Awards committee honors excellence through three primary pillars of recognition:
Achievement Recognition: Celebrating professional milestones, academic, non academic , Tech, Science excellence and significant professional accomplishments that bring pride to the community.
Volunteer Recognition: Honoring the selfless dedication and tireless efforts of those who devote their time and energy to further the NRIVA mission.
Talent Recognition: Spotlighting exceptional skills and creativity in fields such as Beauty Pageant, VGOT Talent, Pickle ball competitions.
Recognition is open to all NRIVA members. We welcome applications from individuals who have demonstrated excellence, commitment, and impactful service within our community and beyond.
How to Apply:
Submit Your Application: Eligible candidates should register their accomplishments by completing the official application form on the Convention website.
Review Process: Once the application window closes, the committee will review all submissions.
Selection: Awards are granted based on a thorough evaluation of the qualified applications received, ensuring a fair and merit-based selection.
We strongly encourage all applicants to register for the convention. Being honored on stage at the 8th Global Convention is a momentous occasion, and we look forward to celebrating your success in person with the entire NRIVA family. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you are selected for an award but cannot attend the convention, we will ensure the award is safely handed over to your chapter leadership so it can be presented to you locally at a later date.

The Beauty Pageant is a talent-based showcase designed to celebrate our community's values. It encourages participants to build confidence, develop their skills, and serve as positive role models within NRIVA Family.
NRIVA chapters have a long-standing tradition of hosting Beauty Pageants during NRIVA Day events. Preliminary rounds are held at the Chapter level, and the finals will be performed live at the 8th Global Convention. For the exact date and time, please refer to the Events & Schedule page.

The Golden Age category celebrates inner beauty, dignity, and timeless elegance of senior couples ( see contestant age requirement in categories above ). Judges evaluate participants based on maturity, poise, and their shared life journey together as a couple.

“NRIVA Nritya Vaibhavam” is an unique first of its kind captivating dance production by NRIVA that brings to life the powerful rhythms and spiritual stories. Through the classical art of Bharatanatyam, the performance blends grace, energy, and expressive storytelling.
Each piece reflects the dancers’ dedication, discipline, and respect for tradition, offering a vivid celebration of a rich cultural legacy.

1. When is the Kalyanam event?
The Kalyanam event will be held on the date and time listed on the Events & Schedule page.
2. Who can perform the Kalyanam?
Only married couples may perform the Kalyanam. All others are welcome to attend as guests and may sit in the designated guest area.
3. Is there a dress code for Kalyanam?
Yes, Suggested dress code is Indian traditional attire for this event.
4. Do participants need to bring anything?
The Kalyanam Basket containing the necessary items will be provided at the convention.
5. What are the seating arrangements? Especially for senior citizens?
The ceremony is performed while seated on the floor. Chairs will be available around the perimeter for senior citizens and those who need them.
1. Can Non-NRIVA members register for the event? Are there any special privileges not offered to non-NRIVA members?
Though the registration is open to only Vasavites, Non-Members can also register for the event.
2. Can adult children be included as kids in the same registration?
Yes, adult children from the same family can be included under the same registration.

Payments via PayPal or Credit Card are not available.
4. Can visiting parents be added to existing registrations?
Yes, parents can be added to existing registrations under the Edit Profile section of member accounts. Depending on the number of additional people attending from the same family, additional admission tickets must be purchased for valid entry.

What is the age eligibility to participate in Shathamanam Bhavathi event?

1. What is the purpose of the Convention Souvenir?
The Convention Souvenir is a commemorative digital publication that captures the spirit of the event and highlights our community’s shared journey, serving as a lasting keepsake of the 8th Global Convention experience.
2. What content will be included?
The Souvenir will include messages from NRIVA organization leadership, 8th Global Convention Leadership, Chapter highlights, Community achievements, and Greetings from donors, sponsors, members and well‑wishers.
3. How does the Souvenir help members connect with each other?
The Souvenir gives members a shared space to learn about different chapters, initiatives, and people across the organization. By sharing stories, accomplishments, and experiences, it helps strengthen connections and build a deeper sense of community.

Yes. The Souvenir will be available online and can be accessed anytime, so members can revisit the messages, highlights, and memories from the convention whenever they wish. This souvenir becomes an NRIVA memorabilia after the convention.

2. How do we organize the VGoT Talent at the local chapter level during NRIVA Day?
Appoint a Lead: Designate a dedicated VGoT Lead for your chapter and provide them with the VGoT bundle.
Promote: Announce the categories and share the official flyer with local members.
Register: Collect registrations from interested families and friends in the community.
Judge: Recruit qualified judges following the judging guidelines; judges should be non‑Vasavites.
Host & Award: Conduct the show and award the local winners.
3. Why participate in the preliminary round in my chapter,if I cannot attend the Convention finale?
Even if you cannot attend the Convention finale, preliminary rounds offer a meaningful opportunity to showcase your talent locally and earn recognition within your chapter.
4. What if a winner can't attend the Convention?
We sincerely hope that all winners in the preliminary rounds will attend the convention! We encourage everyone to do the Convention registration.
If the first‑place winner cannot attend the Convention, the second‑place winner will be invited. If the second‑place winner is also unable to attend, the third‑place winner will be eligible to participate.
5. What are the judging criteria for VGot Talen?
Participants are evaluated based on stage presence and personality, entertainment value, audience appeal, and creativity.
