Dear Fellow Vasavites across the Globe,

It is with immense pride, profound gratitude, and a heart overflowing with joy that I have the honor of addressing each and every one of you — our cherished Vasavite family, spread across every corner of this beautiful world. As President of NRIVA, I am deeply humbled by the trust and confidence you have placed in me, and I draw constant inspiration from the collective strength, boundless generosity, and unwavering spirit of service that so beautifully defines our great community.

NRIVA — the NRI Vasavi Association — was born with a singular, powerful mission: to unite all Vasavites across the globe and serve humanity, with a special focus on uplifting underprivileged communities in the areas of Education and Health. At the very heart of everything we do lies the timeless and sacred message of our beloved Vasavi Matha — Dharmam, Seelam, and Ahimsa (Righteousness, Integrity, and Non-Violence). Today, I stand before you with great pride and joy to say that we are living that mission more powerfully, more passionately, and more purposefully than ever before.

📚 Education — Transforming Lives, One Student at a Time

Education is the foundation upon which futures are built, and NRIVA's flagship Adopt-A-Student (AAS) program continues to be a beacon of hope for underprivileged students across the world. Through the compassion and generosity of our members, we are opening doors of opportunity for children who need it most — truly transforming lives, one student at a time.

🤝 Community Service — Service to Humanity is Service to God

Our commitment to serving humanity knows no boundaries. NRIVA's community service initiatives span a wide and impactful range of programs — including blood drives, cloth and coat drives, school supplies distribution, support for shelters and first responders, care for orphanages and old age homes, and emergency, flood, and wildfire relief efforts. We are especially proud of our landmark Rise Against Hunger initiative, which has set an ambitious and inspiring goal of providing over one million meals to those in need. Every act of service, no matter how big or small, is a reflection of who we are as Vasavites.

🛕 Vasavi Matha Temples — Spreading Her Divine Presence Across North America

One of NRIVA's most cherished and sacred missions has been the establishment of Vasavi Matha temples across North America, ensuring that our community remains spiritually connected to our divine mother wherever we may be. I am immensely proud and grateful to share that we have already reached a milestone of more than 20 Vasavi Matha templesacross North America, steadily advancing toward our goal of 30 and beyond. Each temple stands as a testament to our devotion, our unity, and our love for Vasavi Matha.

🌊 Bringing Vasavites Together — Conventions & Cruise

Community thrives when we come together, and NRIVA makes that happen in the most memorable ways. From our much-loved Cruise trips to our grand Global Convention held once every two years, we continue to create joyful and meaningful opportunities for Vasavites from across the globe to connect, celebrate, and strengthen the bonds that unite us. Our upcoming 8th Global Convention promises to be a truly historic and unforgettable celebration of our culture, heritage, and community spirit — and I warmly invite each and every one of you to be a part of it!

📖 A Special Acknowledgment

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude and admiration to Sri Gayatri Gupta Garu for the incredible dedication, passion, and effort that has gone into preparing this wonderful book, which will be formally launched during our 8th Global Convention. This is a gift to our community and a treasure that will be cherished for generations to come. Dear Vasavite family, none of what we accomplish would be possible without YOU. You are the heartbeat of this organization, and I am endlessly grateful for each and every one of you.

As we move forward together, let us continue to walk proudly and purposefully in the footsteps of our beloved Vasavi Matha — with Dharma in our hearts, Seelam in our actions, and Ahimsa as our guiding light. Let us continue to serve, to inspire, and to uplift one another — because together, there is nothing we cannot achieve.
